  4. Spray the damp cloth with a low PH cleaner to remove germs and bacteria from the outside of your Handymum.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the inside of the backpack as well.
  6. For the extendible part, shake the changing pad and vacuum it to remove dust or various residues, then wipe it with a damp cloth as in steps 3 and 4.
  7. Let it air dry for at least an hour and you're ready to go again.

HOW TO WASH THE MATTRESS

  1. Beat well in the air and then remove the cover from the mattress.
  2. The cover can be washed by hand or in the washing machine with a mild detergent at 30° C. In cases of more difficult stains we recommend hand washing after applying a specific low PH product to the stain for a few minutes.
  3. The mattress cannot be machine washed, simply spot clean with damp cloth with specific detergent.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPRINTMAMA PACIFIER

FIRST WASH

As soon as you open the package, to prevent germs or bacteria, we always recommend sterilizing the pacifier before the first use.

Boil water and soak pacifiers for 5 minutes.

While boiling the water check that the pacifiers do not rest on the pot risking burning.

Collect the pacifiers and dry them on a clean cloth, allowing them to cool.

EVERYDAY WASHING

Cleaning pacifiers is essential for your baby's daily hygiene.

For everyday cleaning, pour boiling water into a bowl and soak the pacifiers in it for about 5 minutes.

When done, scoop out the pacifiers and let them dry on a clean tea towel.

If a pacifier is dropped, clean it with soap and water, or use warm water rinse in a pinch.

TIP: after each wash, always check to remove all possible water left inside the nipple.

DO NOT DO

Do not clean a pacifier with your own mouth.

Do not use abrasive and/or antibacterial cleaners.

Do not wash pacifiers in the dishwasher because detergents damage materials, both latex and silicone.

Do not leave pacifiers exposed directly to the sun.

Do not use UV sterilizer or steam sterilizer for pacifiers.

Do not freeze or cook pacifiers.

Supervise during use.

PACIFIERS WEAR

To keep your child's hygiene high, carefully check the wear and tear on the pacifiers with each wash. When not in use store the pacifiers in the appropriate covers or cases, which you can find here.LINK

Remember to always dispose of any pacifiers that look worn or have obvious cracks or dispose after 2 months (this is because the child needs both a pacifier suitable for the growth of its oral cavity and for hygienic issues).

For this we recommend to keep many duplicate clean pacifiers on hand so they can be easily switched out.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPRINTMAMA TEETHER

FIRST & EVERYDAY WASHING

As soon as you open the package, to prevent germs or bacteria, we always recommend cleaning the teether before the first use.

To wash the teether just take a clean cloth, after wetting it with lukewarm water add a drop of mild soap and wipe well over the entire surface of the teether.

Rinse very well with cold water and dry with a clean cloth.

We recommend keeping duplicate clean teethers on hand so they can be easily switched out.

TEETHERS WEAR

We recommend checking each wash for wear, looking for tears, holes or abnormal deformation.

At the first sign of wear, the teether should be changed.

DO NOT DO

Do not use abrasive or antibacterial cleaners.

Do not wash teether in the dishwasher.

Do not leave teether exposed directly to the sun.

Do not use ANY sterilizer on the teether.

Do not freeze or cook teether.

Supervise during use.

*When we use the term "teether" we are also referring to techniques and information regarding the pacifier guard.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPRINTMAMA SLEEP BAND

Our sleep bands can be hand or machine washed.

For hand washing use lukewarm water and a detergent for hand washing. Once washed and wrung out, hang in the air until completely dry.

To machine wash sleep bands use a delicate cycle that does not exceed 60°C setting a maximum spin cycle of 800 rpm (to avoid shrinking the garment).

Be careful not to mix colors.

DO NOT DO

Do not cut.

Do not burn.

Do not wash with harmful products.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPRINTMAMA PILLOW

Memory foam never goes in the washer or dryer, so always clean by hand.

Don’t scrub the pillow too hard or treat it too roughly; memory foam is delicate.

Always use gentle cleaning agents; stay away from anything too harsh.

After each use, allow the pillow to be aired to prevent the formation of bacteria, germs or mites.

Do you need to deep clean your memory foam pillow? You can’t put a memory foam pillow in the washing machine, but it’s still possible to hand wash it!

  1. Fill up a sink or bathtub with lukewarm water and a small amount of gentle detergent. You can also add a drop of lavender oil if you enjoy the scent!
  2. Slowly submerge your pillow under the soapy water. Squeeze it to allow the soapy water to penetrate beneath the surface. Repeat twice.
  3. Drain soapy water and refill with clean water. Squeeze the pillow several times, allowing the clean water to wash away any remaining dirt or soap until the water runs clear.
  4. Gently squeeze your pillow to remove excess water, but don’t twist or rigorously squeeze the foam.
  5. Leave air dry, preferably in direct sunlight or outdoors. If neither are available, leave your memory foam pillow under a ceiling fan.
  6. Sprinkle with a drop of lavender oil if desired!

HOW TO REMOVE SIMPLE STAINS

Remove the outer lining and use a towel to absorb the excess liquid.

With a little soap and water applied to a sponge, rub gently in circular motions until it disappears.

Allow the pillow to air dry or help with a hair dryer while keeping a good distance from the pillow.

BAD STAINS

Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (you can mix with a little baking soda for really tough stains like pee) directly to the stain and blot thoroughly with a clean cloth until the memory foam no longer emits liquid and bubbles.

Spray with cold water and scrub with an old toothbrush.

HOW TO DEODORIZE THE PILLOW

Remove the cover and place the pillow on a flat surface, then gently sprinkle the memory foam with baking soda and leave in direct sunlight for 2-3 hours.

Whisk the pillow to remove the baking soda and gently vacuum the memory foam.

DO NOT DO

Do not leave your child alone until 6 months of age or until he/she is able to roll on his/her own.

Do NOT ABSOLUTELY wash the Memory Foam pillow in the washing machine.

Memory Foam is a material that if washed in washing machine loses its original shape, becoming unusable.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SPRINTMAMA PACIFIER CLIP

FIRST & EVERYDAY WASHING

As soon as you open the package, to prevent germs or bacteria, we always recommend cleaning the pacifier clip before the first use.

Our pacifier clips are made of three materials, silicone and food grade wood and the metallic clip.

To clean them excellently it is necessary to wash the two materials in two separate ways (to prevent wear and tear).

The silicone part should be treated with a damp cloth and a drop of natural or neutral soap, while the wooden part should only be rinsed with warm water.

Rinse well with water and dry the whole clip very well with a clean cloth.

CLIPS WEAR

Check all parts of the clip at every wash, at the first sign of wear such as holes, tears, chips or rust the clip should be changed.

DO NOT DO

Do not use abrasive or antibacterial cleaners.

Do not wash in the dishwasher.

Do not use when baby is in a crib/bed.

Do not tie it around the baby's neck/skin.

Supervise during use.

Do not stretch the chain.

Never attach to crotch, wires or clothing ties.
